JON E. AAMODT, P.E. - PRINCIPAL

Mr. Aamodt is an experienced Professional Structural Engineer. He is a founding partner of Northland Consulting Engineers and is currently registered to practice engineering in the following states:

                - Minnesota - Wisconsin - Michigan - Montana - Kansas
               - Kansas - Texas- Florida- Georgia- Arizona - New Mexico

He is also registered with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. This registration allow for prompt licensure to practice in most states in the United States.

He has been a practicing structural engineer in the consulting field since 1991. Mr. Aamodt has been the structural engineer of record for hundreds of projects large and small. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991. He is active in many civic, community and professional organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a charter member of the Structural Engineering Institute.

In 1997, Mr. Aamodt formed and became a principal partner in Northland Consulting Engineers. He is proud of the relationships and trust he has formed with his many clients. Those clients value Mr. Aamodt for his expertise and dependability to provide prompt, economical engineering solutions and service to their projects.

In 2009, Mr. Aamodt became Managing Partner of Northland Consulting Engineers. His role includes oversight and management of the partners and staff to ensure every project is completed with the highest standard of quality and professionalism.


JOHN R. WOODWORTH, P.E. - PRINCIPAL

John R. Woodworth, P.E. Mr. Woodworth is an experienced Professional Engineer. He is a founding partner of Northland Consulting Engineers and is registered in the states of:

    - Minnesota - Wisconsin - Iowa - North Dakota - South Dakota - Michigan

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1977, and a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering in 1978, both from Iowa State University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a Past President of its Duluth Section, and is a member of the Executive Committee for the ASCE Technical Council on Cold Regions Engineering. He is also a member of the Duluth Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Woodworth has practiced structural engineering for over thirty years in northeastern Minnesota. During that time he was involved with design and construction document preparation of industrial, commercial, transportation and waterfront related projects. For the past twenty years he has concentrated on structural, building envelope and construction-related forensic investigations and evaluations as required by insurance companies, attorneys, real estate professionals, government agencies and property owners. His work carries him to all the states in which he's registered.

As an extension of his work with the insurance industry, Mr. Woodworth serves as an umpire or appraiser on appraisal boards for insurance claim settlement. He also serves as an expert in court testimony.
